Black Sunday and the Duma Elections in my motherland

While many spent their Sunday moping, abusing alcohol in the afternoon, crying about how days turn into months and generally avoiding suicide, another depressing segment in history occurred in Russia: elections for the State Duma, during which Putin's party won by a landslide, insuring a victory for his personally nominated czar successor in the upcoming presidential elections and thwarting all the feeble attempts at sovereignty and democracy that the dissipation of the Soviet Union in 1991 promised at first glance.  Oh well.  Putin may be the new "father of the nation," but at least the Russian chicks are still hot and slutty.
